Dr. Kyriacos Demetriades orthopedic surgeon graduated from Democritus University Medical School.
He completed six years of orthopaedic and trauma training at KAT Hospital, Athens—a Level I trauma center—rotating through Spine, Scoliosis, Microsurgery, Upper Limb, and Pediatric Orthopaedics at “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital.
His expertise includes joint replacements, trauma, non-unions, Ilizarov techniques, arthroscopy, sports injuries, hand, foot, ankle, and pediatric surgery.
He worked as Associate Surgeon at Euroclinic Athens and Registrar at Princess Royal University Hospital, London (King’s College NHS).
He holds Royal College of England certifications in knee arthroplasty and arthroscopy, AO Trauma credentials, and trained in minimally invasive foot surgery at University of Barcelona (GRECMIP).
He also completed a 12-week microsurgery course in Athens and is a certified ICF trainer.
Since 2012, he has practiced privately in Engomi, Nicosia, and is affiliated with major private hospitals across Cyprus.
On-call at Evangelistria Hospital since 2013, he uses minimally invasive biological fixation for fractures.
He specializes in knee and hip pathology, performing arthroplasty and arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, and ankle, along with limb reconstruction and hand surgery.
